The AT&T version of HTC Windows Phone 8X is more or less the same as the global version. With AT&T you would have to commit to the two year agreement plane. The yellow color version of HTC 8X offers 8GB of storage space while the blue color offers 16GB, while the Flame Red and Graphite Black are exclusive to Verizon in the US.
As stated above the design is the same, the only change is the added branding. The silver HTC logo has been removed on the AT&T version. On the back side there is the AT&T signature globe where the Beats logo used to be. The Beat symbol has been moved, and now it sits below the HTC embossed logo.
You still get the 4.3 inches Super LCD 2 with 1280 x 720 resolution display, the wonderful autofocus 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, the dual core 1.5 GHZ Snapdragon S4 COS with 1GB RAM. The preference is also the same but the battery life has decreased slightly. You would hardly notice the battery life change in normal daily usage.
HTC Windows Phone 8X still runs on Windows 8, all they have done is add new settings and applications to the Windows 8. The smart phone still has the per installed yet removed HTC apps like HTC app, Photo Enhancer, Flashlight, Converter, Beats Audio switch and the attentive phone toggles. The app for Connection Setup has been removed as the HTC Windows Phone 8X comes preconfigured to AT&T APNs. You will also find the following AT&T apps preloaded on the smart phone, AT&T Code Scanner, AT&T Navigator, AT&T Family Map, AT&T Radio, my AT&T, AT&T U-verse Live TV and YP mobile. You can easily uninstall the AT&T apps.
To sum it all up, the AT&T version of HTC Windows Phone 8X offers less storage space compared to the other smart phone in the same price range.
